OVERVIEW
The task was to create a vibrant brand universe for Pokémon Futsal, a partnership between Pokémon and The FA. It promoted grassroots participation in Futsal, With the aim to nurture young footballers. The identity needed captivate children’s imagination, positioning Pokémon Futsal as the sport for kids nationwide. It needed a bold, dynamic, and energetic design that promotes positivity, encouragement, and personal growth.

MASTER’S TOOLS
A brand device was developed with combined inspiration from a PokéBall and the centre circle of a football pitch, It was named… The Master Line. Dynamic typography was also created to personify the tempo of Futsal, which created a high sense of impact.

LEVELING UP
Pokémon is about growing as an individual; mastering moves leads to your character’s evolution. Where Futsal gives you the chance to master your skills through the freedom of creativity and self-expression on the court. Through this linked ideology, our campaign line became ‘Master the Ball’, drawing language familiar with Pokémon lore, acting as a rally cry!

CONTENT HUB
A microsite was created to offer Schools and Youth football across the country coaching drills, tactical advice, as well as a chance to receive exclusive bundle packs. These included custom PokéBall footballs, Bibs, markers, and progress sticker packs where kids could track their Futsal skills.
